My First Giveaway

Hi all,
I am so excited to offer my first giveaway.  Liz from www.MyMemories.com contacted me and offered to supply me with a copy of their digital scrapbooking software to share with my readers.   All you have to do to enter is go to www.MyMemories.com and check out their products, then come back here to my blog and leave a comment indicating which digital kit is your favorite. Although I would love you to follow my blog, it is not necessary to enter for the giveaway. The giveaway will be open for 1 week and a winner will be announced next Saturday.
I have been "playing" with the software myself and I am loving it!  I have tried other scrapbooking software and it always seemed difficut for me to get the results that I wanted, but with My Memories Suite, the learning curve is so small, I could just open it up and go. So far, I must say that it is the easiest  scrapbooking software that I have ever used.
The first thing that I did, after downloading the software, was go to www.MyMemories.com and download all of the free kits - There are many.  I am sure that I will be purchasing several of them, but for now, I am just exploring all of the freebies.
Here is the first project that I have created with the digital software.

Good luck and thanks for stopping by

Totally not my style

Ok, well all I can say is it was a long week and I guess I am looking forward to a wild weekend and this card starts it off.  Nothing more to say...

My Glamour Girl!

When I got the Forever Young cartridge, I thought of my youngest daughter.  She is such a girly girl and this cartidge has so many images that fit her perfectly.

Thinking of you

I made this card a few days ago but never had time to post it.  I love this background paper, so I had to find something pretty to make with it.

Welcome the new baby

I made this card to welcome the new baby in the family.  The blue base is textured with Divine Swirls Cuttlebug. I added the light blue paper stamped with the adorable footprints stamp. The medium blue strip is punched with Fiskars water threading punch. I cut the bottle from Gypsy Wanderings at 3 1/2 inches.  After adding a little ribbon, the card was complete.

Thanks Lauren

My daughter moved into a new apartment during this heat wave. Not only that but it is on the third floor with no elevator, so we had to carry all of her funiture up 2 flights of stairs and let me tell you, her couch is a beast!  Her roommate came over to drop off some keys and she stayed to helped us move almost everything. She is such a good friend to my daughter and I really appreciate all she does. I made this card as a thank you to her and thought I would share it with all of you.

Here is the inside with a nice little gift card to Starbucks. I think that is a hit with all college students.

I Like your Style

This is a card that I made for my daughter.  I just got the Nifty Fifties cartridge and really loved this dress.

I added some ribbon and pearls to dress it up a little and the phrase is welded together with my gypsy from gypsy font.

Hello Card

I woke up the other morning with this card in my head, so I just had to go create it.  The surprising thing about it is that I didn't use my cricut, which I almost always use.  I hope you enjoy it.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by.

Z-fold Bird card

This is the first z-fold card that I have  made.  I love this little bird on the Create a Critter cartridge.  I used the Divine Swirls and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folders to add a little texture.

Here is the inside of the card.

I had a lot of fun making this card.  I will be sending several of these out to friends and family.

Jeanne's Birthday Card

I made this card I made my sister-in-law's birthday.  I used the Sweet Treats cricut cartidge, embossed the cupcake top with Divine Swirls, then added stickles to accent the top.  It was a fun and easy card to make.

Just getting started

So, I have never posted to a blog before and let me tell you, it is not instinctive for me.  It took me a long time to figure out how to get things on here.  Hopefully it will get easier so I will do it often.  I would like to share some of the crafts and cards that I make.
